Are electric cars the future?

Are electric cars the future? Electric cars are growing by the day with names like Tesla, Audi, Ford, and many more making these vehicles. As it seems the world is starting to crack down on carbon emissions and a good way to solve that problem is with electricity are considering they don't release any emissions, although I still think for electric cars to overpass the sales of gasoline cars they have a long way to go. For instance, it's unpractical for many locations like here, there are barely any tesla chargers around here in New England. Sure out in California, there is a tesla charger as often as there is a gas pump. I just think if they want people to be on board with their ideas they need to be more readily available in all locations but I get this takes time. Tesla put out its first car in 2008 with the roadster, this was when tesla really started to make a name for itself but fast forward 13 years and they have many models out and they are fairly affordable for an...

Mac Pro use at Nh colleges?

Mac Pro use at Nh colleges? The mac pro is apples newest high performance professional grade desktop, it offers top notch reliability and reasonable pricing for the workload assuming you can take advantage of it in a professional environment. To the average consumer, the maxed price of over 50k seems unbelievable but the intent of something like this is for production studios like Disney or Pixar. Parts of the newest Jumanji movie were actually rendered on a 2019 Mac Pro and it was far from a top spec model which goes to show how much power there really is to take advantage of if you know how.  I think some of these computers could be beneficial to colleges in order to help students who might be going into the film industry better work with something they would see in the field. Sure you can run the same software like Apples Final Cut Pro x, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Avid, DaVinci Resolve, and others on much lower end computers and some laptops, the issue is that a lot of th...

Internet ads and why people don't like them

Internet ads and why people don't like them  If you go on the internet frequently, chances are you have seen an abundance of advertisements everywhere you go. Google is often the source of the ads that seem to consume you wherever you visit online. When ads are custom tailored to something you were just researching or something you just bought it's called a cookie. Cookies are based on an algorithm in order to push you to buy something relevant to what you were just looking at or had previously purchased. Companies get paid for ad time, they usually get paid depending on how many people visit the website and the website the ad is occupying.  The fundamental point of ads and algorithms from the companies that dish them out is to make more money because of more clicks from the consumer. If Windex bought a sponsor spot in let's say Britannica because that site has a generous supply of ads on it. Britannica gets paid by Windex for every person that views the ad. However...

Ai and its Effects on The Future

Ai and its Effects on The Future Artificial intelligence is becoming more and more prominent in the modern world, computers come with forms of it like Cortana or Siri and just about every new phone comes with either Siri Alexa Cortana or google assistant. As for whether you use it doesn't matter, it's no secret that it's useful for certain applications but not for others. For example, if you want to do simple things like yell at your phone to call someone or google something they are great but they don't do well with more complicated things. You can’t give them a list of things to do and they can’t really do anything aside from saving you a bit of time when navigating your smartphone or computer.  This is where more advanced technology comes into play, a technology that allows computers to think on their own and formulate decisions on how to get something done and how to do it to the best of their abilities. One of the sections in the article I read on the topic ga...
